How Can You Help?

The SHCA Trust is funded through the donations from
dedicated breed enthusiasts like yourself!

There are many ways to give to the SHCA Trust. You can choose a one-time gift of any amount, an annual gift, a gift pledged over a period of years, or include the Trust in your will or bequest. Any gift over $50 will receive a Trust lapel pin as our "thank you" gift for you.

The SHCA Trust is a 501(c)3 Organization. That means donations to the SHCA Trust may be tax deductible. Donors should consult with their tax advisors.

There are many ways for you to donate to the Trust. Here are just a few:

Donate in Memory or Honor of a friend or loved one, whether human or canine. An acknowledgment will be sent upon request.

Become a sustaining member of the SHCA Trust with your Annual Membership. Donor levels are as follows:

Lead Dogs: $1,000+
Wheel Dogs: $500 to $999
Swing Dogs: $200 to $499
Team Dogs: $50 to $199
Handlers: under $50

All levels of sled dog donors (from $50 up) will receive an SHCA Trust lapel pin to thank you for your support. Lead Dog and Wheel Dog donors will receive an additional thank you gift. Each annual membership is for a calendar year.

Ask your employer about Corporate Matching Gifts. Many Companies will make a matching gift to the SHCA Trust when one of their employees makes a donation. To find out if your company has such a program, please check with your Human Resources Department or Benefits Coordinator. The Trust's EIN is 20-6699296.
A gift of cash or other financial instruments, such as stocks, equities, bonds, CDs, etc.
Think about the Trust in your Estate Planning.

Whatever type or level of donation you are comfortable making will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!

Donations can be specified for any of our three arms: Health, Rescue, or Education. Donations not specified are welcome, and will be allocated by the Trustees to the fund where the need is greatest.
